FAQs
Every order in the Boneyard is forged to order — no warehouses, no dead stock, no shortcuts. Below you'll find answers to the most common questions about our products, shipping, and policies. Read through before you order so you know exactly how we operate.
We keep things simple: fulfillment takes a few days, shipping times vary by region, and we replace any misprints or defects — but we don't do buyer's remorse returns. Each piece is made for you, so choose your size carefully, train heavy, and wear it hard.
Sizing
How do the shirts fit?
Boneyard Strength tees run true to size on 100% heavyweight cotton. If you are between sizes, size up — the pre-shrunk cotton holds its shape through washing but does not stretch. The cut is standard, not fashion-slim, which means it fits correctly under a bar and does not restrict overhead movement.
Are there size charts available?
Yes. Each product page includes a size guide with chest and length measurements. Check it before ordering — since every piece is made to order, we cannot process exchanges for sizing errors.
Materials
What are the shirts made from?
100% heavyweight cotton, pre-shrunk. We chose this construction deliberately: it holds its structure through the training environment — chalk, sweat, bar contact, repeated washing. The polyester blends optimized for running are not built for what happens under a barbell. The cotton is.
How do I care for my Boneyard shirt?
Wash cold, tumble dry low, turn inside out before washing to preserve the print. Do not iron directly on the design. The heat-treated print is durable under normal conditions — it is not bulletproof, but it will not ghost after a few months of use if cared for correctly.
Production and Fulfillment
How long until my order ships?
Each offering is made when you claim it. Production typically takes 3-5 business days. Shipping time varies by region — US domestic orders generally arrive within 7-12 business days from order placement. International orders take longer and may be subject to customs processing.
Why does it take longer than Amazon?
Because your shirt does not exist until you order it. There is no warehouse. There is no surplus. The made-to-order model means slightly longer fulfillment — that is the correct trade for producing nothing that was not already claimed.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. International shipping is available. Customs fees and import duties are the buyer's responsibility and vary by country. Delivery times are longer than US domestic — factor 2-4 weeks for international orders.
Returns and Replacements
What is your return policy?
Since every offering is made to order, we do not accept returns for change of mind or sizing errors. Choose carefully using the size guide on each product page.
If your order arrives with a print defect, manufacturing error, or shipping damage, contact us within 30 days at support@boneyardstrength.com with your order number and a photo of the issue. We will replace it.
What counts as a defect?
Print misregistration, fading at time of delivery, visible manufacturing errors, damage in transit. Normal wear after the garment has been used is not a defect. The cotton will fade over time with heavy use — that is what cotton does. It is also what the mark becomes: worn rather than discarded.
Products and Collections
New marks enter the archive when Rex determines the species is worthy. There is no fixed release calendar. Some offerings are evergreen — available in the archive indefinitely. Others are limited and do not return. Follow the Boneyard on Instagram and TikTok when new marks enter.
What is the difference between collections?
Heritage — foundational marks, the core vocabulary of the brand. Species — the fossil archive, each creature rendered as an anatomical mark. Brutuhl — stripped to necessity, built for the lifter who requires nothing decorative. Boneyard Records — where iron culture meets metal. Artists — collaborative marks with specific artists whose work belongs in the Boneyard. Relics — pieces that carry the history of the brand itself.
Are the dinosaur designs accurate?
The species marks are rendered from the fossil record, not from movies. Velociraptor mongoliensis is depicted at its actual size — roughly two feet tall, feathered — not as the six-foot movie creature. T-Rex is the actual apex, not the roaring cartoon. The Boneyard takes the source material seriously. The designs do too.
